Dr. Macho joined the team at UAH in the fall of 2019. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Biological Science from the University of Vermont and her DVM from Tufts University.
Dr. Macho has practiced veterinary medicine in New England since graduation, and she has sought to offer her patients all the treatment options available. This desire let her to pursue advanced training in acupuncture and chiropractic. Dr. Macho is certified in acupuncture through the International Veterinary Society and chiropractic through the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association.
She resides on small farm in Rhode Island with her husband, their four horses, beagle, chocolate lab, and oversized cat.
